Ian Shields
Ian is from Shotts in Lanarkshire, but has lived and worked in Aberdeen for the past 15 years. He first trained as an illustrator with the Scottish Wildlife Trust in Edinburgh, before being accepted by Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, from which he graduated in 1998 with a degree in Fine Art. “My landscape work attempts to capture a sense of place, along with the interplay of light, time and weather.”
